There is a special kind of freedom that only summer by the sea can offer.
Inspired by the breathtaking coastline of Sweden's west coast and the shimmering waters of Gullmarsfjorden, Regatta II captures the fleeting beauty of wind-filled sails gliding across sunlit water. Layers of luminous blues, soft whites, and warm gold leaf reflect the ever-changing dialogue between sea, sky, and sunlight.
Rather than portraying a specific regatta, the painting evokes the feeling of being there—the fresh ocean breeze, the sparkle of light on the water, and the quiet joy of long summer days.
For me, this artwork is a tribute to my own sanctuary by the sea, where nature restores both body and soul. It is an invitation to pause, breathe, and remember those rare moments when life feels beautifully uncomplicated.
